“Crap on a cracker the size of Texas” is an actual thing that’s said out loud in this book. And I still read this in one sitting.
This is trash, I am trash, I have no regrets.

The plot,, world building, and even the way vision loss was portrayed were on point. What ruined it for me was that I found the narrator's internal voice incredibly annoying. She is described as an 18-year-old girl, but given how preoccupied she is with her crush you might think she was 15 or 16. Given that this was a plot-driven book, I found the constant mention of this tedious and unneccesary.
Graphic: Chronic illness
Moderate: Gaslighting and Sexism
Minor: Ableism
