A strong 3 stars - I loved the story overall, but the writing felt immature and repetitive at times which would pull me out of the story. The dialogue often didn’t feel natural and I struggle with that.
It was a solid YA/NA reverse harem romance, a lot of angst and trauma - definitely check the trigger warnings!
My biggest issue was that I really didn’t like one of the guys. I loved the intensity of Axel and how playful and sincere Skeet was, but I borderline hated Heath and I didn’t understand his relationship with any of the others. He didn’t fit the dynamic for me.

This book wrecked me! I couldn’t get enough . My heart hurts for B and the love and connection she had with Axel was so intense it had me in a chokehold. Then there is sweet Ethan. He is by far my favorite character. I cried like a baby throughout this book for this boy that carried the weight of his world in his shoulders. This book was easily a five star read for me and will be living rent free in my head for the rest of my life
There is quite a lot of tragedy and healing in this book with things working their way to an HEA. I did enjoy this book but went into it a little blind not really knowing what it was about. There is a lot of various triggers in this story so keep that in mind if you are sensitive.
I have not rated a book 5-stars in so long, I have actually started to ask myself if it was just me being picky and putting up a high standard.
But finally I told myself, I would know when a book deserves 5-star. Those books are always the ones that leave me with a huge impact and would be memorable to me for a long time.
This book is definitely that. My heart hurts after reading this and by the last page my eyes are sore from crying. It is not an easy book to read because it tackles controversial issues and while I do not condone what Ethan did, I feel his loss so much because of Blaire.
I am not great at guessing plot twists and secrets but I honestly already had an idea about what Ethan did, why he did it/what happened to Blaire, and who sent the emails to Blaire. I'm glad that everything was uncovered by the end.
After Blaire's attempt I wanted her to focus on just moving on but it was satisfying to get all the answers about what happened.
Blaire is awesome. I love how brave and empathetic she was. She reminds me of Harlow from The Sainthood series. Even though she's suffering pain, she still had the ability to feel for other people.
The guys are awesome but my favorite is Skeet. The way he loved and was devoted to her right from the start and after she came back - Blaire is right, that's unconditional love.
I wish I could read more about their journey as a group - handling the public scrutiny with Heath being a football star, their careers after college, etc.
I do recommend this book but with a lot of caution. Check trigger warnings.

This is a dark story. You don’t find out what has happened in her past until the middle but that’s where it drops hard and fast and gets worse before it gets better. An HEA to end things out.

This was so sad but also so empowering. Really sheds a new outlook on the concepts of life, love, and loss.
Amazing, heart-wrenching story - my first from this author and my love for her writing began.
This makes me cry, i feel so bad for ethan and i kinda hate lucinda a little bit but overall i like this book. A rollercoaster indeed.
