I have always been a bit skeptical of the cult of GTD, as seen in Lifehacker, etc., but the book itself is very persuasive. As Allen says, even if you don't adopt the entire GTD system, there are plenty of tricks that you can adopt on a case-by-case basis to make your life easier. I will reserve that fifth star, however, until I see how well this system actually works as I try to put it into practice.
Highly recommend it, a system for life—personal and professional. Took me a few months to really implement but I'm glad I did.

I re-read this every few years and always gain something new from it.
DNF because it felt repetitive and too granular. I think I got the memo
I hate that I liked this book. I resist prescribed ways of doing things and prefer exploring on my own even if it means lots of trial and error. But with the few tactics from it that I've implemented so far I've dramatically improved how much I get done each work day and decreased my stress level.
I'll definitely be re-reading it for tips I missed or didn't understand the first time through. Seriously considering buying a copy (after all, I've had to renew it from the library 4 times and it's currently overdue).

Good concept. Let's see if I can actually implement
It as a good book for the purpose it was written for which is why it was given 5 stars. Recommend it to anyone at any stage of life.
