In all honesty this was nicely packaged tame gay smut. Which we’re not necessarily complaining about through at one point it did seem very similar to Bridgestone ep7 just less explicit, and more fade to blacks. Overall it was a great easy read to get over a reading slump. Though I wouldn’t quiet count this as an enemies to lovers story as
they were firmly out of enemies territory way before the first 100 pages and they’re interactions as “enemies” are only brief before they start to become friends and lovers.

This book made my heart swell. It’s absolutely beautiful and celebrates what it truly means to be a modern American. I saw myself in both Henry and Alex, and this truly is one of the best books I’ve ever read.

Me during the first 60%: THIS IS ALMOST UNBEARABLY DELIGHTFUL

Me during the rest: Oh. Oh, we're going there now. OH.

Overall this is an obvious monumental win for the gays. I do wish it went just a *tad* less into the wish-fulfillment territory, but like, I get it.
