I did like the book, but I felt it was too slow for me and nothing really was happening until like page 300. Plus, I did not understand the politics in the book/it wasn’t super interesting to me. I did love the relationship between Henry and Alex and how it was complicated but it also wasn’t. I am hoping for a spin off of Nora and June!

Was not able to finish this book. Why?
1) too much smut....
2) not a strong plot except the smut and sexting.
3) stereotyped?
4) there was a movie already released (loved the movie tho)

Endlich mal wieder ein Buch für das ich lange wach bleibe (nach 22 Uhr). Tausend mal besser als der Film, 10/10 no notes

It’s cute and fun escapism, with an enjoyable cast of characters. I personally didn’t always connect with the author’s style of writing, but that didn’t stop me from chewing through it each time I sat down to read it. I also liked the development of the main character’s bisexual identity.
