This book was on track to get a solid 4 stars from me, but the last twist near the end knocked it down a bit. I was so excited to read about
Thursday and Regina teaming up to help Hannah and take down a psychotic Seth
when in reality I had to read about
Regina abusing Thursday’s mental state to ruin her life.

I did like the back and forth of trying to figure out who is mentally sane and who isn’t, but by the end I was just left with a lot of questions and trying to figure out how/if certain things would actually work.

Ugh. I need to collect my thoughts. I knew most people didn't like the ending, but wow I didn't think I'd be so angry lol. Overall I did enjoy this book, Tarryn is one of my favorite authors, and this doesn't change anything. This was super fast paced and always had me on the edge of my seat, but unfortunately, thanks to a lot of reviews on here and bookstagram, I was aware of what trope this was in, making it very easy to guess the ending (don't worry, I won't do that to you). I would still recommend this for any thriller fan. I remember when this was first being released, Tarryn had said she wrote this in mind for a traditional thriller, and has all of the classic tropes. And in that regard, she did a great job!
