 love this book so much.

(This was a reread for me)

Tori is an inherently funny person, and the way this is written is entertaining and makes it so easy to fly through this book. It's been since early January that I read a book this quickly or enjoyed a book this book. Thank you Alice Oseman for that!

This is a book primarily about Tori's struggles with her mental health, but it's also about a prankster group at her school whose pranks get more and more serious. It's also about Tori's friendship with Micheal Holden.

This book explores themes of friendship, life, growing up, depression, and social influence.

Alice Oseman confirmed in the Q&A in the back of the US edition that Tori is asexual, and while it's never said explicitly in the book, you can totally see it. And I want to be clear! This is not a romance! It's more of whatever the platonic version of a romance is. And I just love Tori and Micheal's relationship so much.

And be warned! This book is not light! It deals with serious topics and Tori's internal monolgue is quite depressing. But it's so real. Oseman does an amazing job of making all the characters feel so real and so human.

Y'all should read this book! And then read the rest of Alice Oseman's books because they are all great
