It’s an incredible read, it partially relates to Heartstopper but provides an incredible story and character development for tori and allows you to truly bond with her and understand her

Good the whole way through, though the ending felt very rushed. Possibly reflects the MC's mental state at the time, but a choice I didn't love.

Loved Heartstopper, even though this book came first. I feel Alice has a unique voice and had created a diverse and complex world with her characters. This was mental health heavy which is a central theme. While I intend to read all of her books, I think I will need to take breaks between, to keep myself from feeling too weighted down with the heavy themes.

This book is a constant favourite of mine I have listened and read it multiple time. This book is extremely relatable and it embodies so much emotion and it really makes you think about what u r doing in ur life. This book is for the people who don’t feel life anymore and for the people who need a comfort character who relates to you.

This has been my favourite Alice Oseman book that I’ve read so far. I think it’s because I relate a lot to Tori Spring and the way she thinks. She’s very self deprecating and pessimistic, and is clearing struggling with her mental health.
Michael Holden is such a wonderful character, he’s really the only one who notices Tori is struggling but doesn’t push her to open up about her feelings and admit that she’s having a rough time. I really enjoyed watching their friendship grow throughout the book as they’re trying to find out who is behind solitaire - this anonymous group that is pulling “pranks” on the school, but the pranks keep getting bigger and dangerous and the police and school are pretty much doing nothing to stop them.
