Molto, molto interessante *w*
Mi ha fatto un pò strano vedere il padre di Jace, però è stato davvero molto interessante vedere in azione il circolo :). Sappiamo davvero poco di questo periodo, quindi spero che magari in un futuro la Clare ci illumini ancora di più! Sarebbe interessante sapere cosa ha realmente spinto Valentine a creare tutto questo casino u.u.

This story mainly contained pieces of backstory about the circle and how Magnus originally met Clary so I found the whole thing quite interesting. A lot of the parts were quite sad which was to be expected but still... I'm glad I read this because I do usually like to know more about characters' beginnings.
Tbh these short stories are literally just fan service at this point but I’m not complaining
It was good reading about Tessa again and getting some details on Jocelyn's and Magnus' relationship.

Bastante sorprendida con este relato, la verdad, porque me ha gustado bastante. Especialmente la última parte ya en 1993 donde aparece Jocelyn y los vagos recuerdos que tengo de la saga de The Mortal Instruments vinieron a mi cabeza. Visto así, es mucho más fácil entender el contexto de los libros y como que las incógnitas dejan de estar tan visibles en mi cabeza. Es siempre un placer leer a Magnus y tristemente de este libro me quedan sólo tres relatos más (espero que mejoren y no vaya a peor), pero sé que aparece también en TMI, así que no me quejo.
Por otro lado, es increíble todo el recorrido que hay hasta llegar hasta esta saga, que fue la primera que yo conocí de Cazadores de Sombras. No tengo queja alguna de lo bien planteado que lo tiene todo Cassandra, así que sólo espero que en las que me faltan (que son un par más, me parece), la cosa también mejore. De TMI no espero mucho porque las opiniones son muy dispares, pero por lo menos ahora tengo más ganas de leerla que en 2013 cuando me compré los libros que se quedaron en la estantería cogiendo polvo.

This was yet another perfect addition to The Bane Chronicles, honestly: the time jump was perfect and honestly it answered a lot of questions I had when reading City of Bones.
Without being too spoilery, the last stand takes place before City of Bones, and we get an insight into a lot of familiar faces before we properly get to know them; I’m talking Maryse Lightwood, Lucien Graymark, Jocelyn and of course Valentine, who we can really see his intensity and utter ruthlessness.
Magnus however remains his perfect self, no bias whatsoever, but honestly his attitude is understandable and the authors continue to do an amazing job getting his emotions to seep through the pages. Especially at the last part, where he’s with a dear friend of his (not going to say who but oh my gosh I was so happy to see what happened play out!) and this amazing duo is asked a very important request by Jocelyn. For my fellow Shadowhunters, you know what I mean.
And this was the novella we needed.

This gave a nice background to Valentine and the Uprising and how Bane met Clary.
