I really liked this one! The best part is at 79% when Tessa talks to Jocelyn. Dang! is all I could say.

I love this one: background on the Circle & Magnus & Clary's first meeting!!!
emotional fast-paced

تسا و مگنس و غرور و تعصب؟!؟!؟!؟!

Amo el Malec ;;

Okay, so this is by far my favorite 'Bane Chronicles' novella so far. I loved that we got to learn more in details what happened with the Circle and we got to know how Jocelyn met with Magnus and we got the confirmation that the other warlock was Tessa and I so LOVED the relationship between Tessa and Jocelyn and Clary.

It was a great novella.

“I am fighting for a better world for myself and my son,” said the woman called Maryse.

“I have no interest in the world you want,” Magnus told her. “Or in your doubtless repellent brat, I might add.”

Ya sure Magnus? Ya really sure?

Short Review:

Pretty much the prequel story to The Mortal Instruments. Valentine and his vigilantes are raising hell, and Magnus sets out to protect the Downworld scene of New York City. This was one of the better stories, mostly because it shows multiple sides of Magnus's character. I also wondered how he thought about helping Jocelyn and Clary out in the beginning. A good story, but nothing that special.

(4.5)

THIS is what I needed.

Valentine.

I needed to see the followers as they were before they were caught. I needed to see how Jocelyn came to the conclusion of taking away the things from Clary she did and how Magnus agreed to her terms.

THIS was worth all the other books that I read in this series that I just kind of shrugged about. I’m not really a novella-book type of person. I like my big, thick, deep books. But I needed to read this and see Valentine in the works.
