Okay read. This is a cute introduction to the Avengers universe.

This is a World of Reading Level 1 book for Pre-K to Grade 1 readers. The book uses simple text and word repetition to aid in reading.

This is a very basic overview of some of the Avengers characters. There is no story, just a description of each character. Some of the Avengers included are Black Widow, Wasp, Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America. Each character is categorized by a noun (spy, king, genius) as well as a few defining features. Except poor Hulk, he's just big, green, and strong (No nouns for you big guy) as if Bruce's background as a scientist is not relevant at all.

The book also states there are ten Avengers, which is a little misleading since there are tons and tons and tons of actual Avengers. But this goes through the ten main ones from the movie franchise so far.

The illustrations were adorable, so cute, although sometimes the character's heads appeared a little too big as to be kind of creepy, especially the females. But the pictures were still cute.

Overall, an okay read for basic superhero descriptions.
