I know it's a classic, and I appreciate the tale-within-a-tale-within-a-tale narrative structure, but it's basically about awful people being awful to each other for generations. Yuck. At least having read it, I can better appreciate Kate Beaton's take on it in her Hark A Vagrant comics (Google Hark a Vagrant Wuthering Heights. Totally worth it. Be sure to read both Part I and Part II. Also a good summary if you don't want to bother reading the original).

Es el primer clásico que he leído. Primero lo empecé a leer prestado de la biblioteca de mi pueblo y me quedé por la mitad, y cierto tiempo después lo compré y lo retomé. Me sorprendió muchísimo. Le doy 5⭐

Not a fan of this style of writing. Even for a classic, this feels unnecessarily laborious to read. I’ve read the summaries for my English course, I understand why it could be considered an important text, is it worth the hours spent reading it? No. Will I give it a go some other time? Maybe. For now, we part ways.
