A great resource on how to discuss race and identify everyday racism - would highly recommend.

Required reading for people (ie. white people) who are working on unlearning, learning, and acting on antiracist work.

This was a pretty fantastic book. A great overview of a large swath of issues surrounding racial justice, with enough depth to really drive the points home with data and anecdotal experiences. I'm excited to continue on to some other anti-racism books, but I'm glad I started with this one.

I love that Oluo actually gave readers ideas to fight for equality within our system. Often it can be overwhelming to think about the vastness of the problem but she gave very realistic ways to help aid in the fight for equality. She included all races in that fight for justice and spoke of many issues that needed to be addressed such as microaggressions and the school to prison pipeline.
