This book is wild and off the rails -- Everyone is terrible (IMO), and I kept wanting to shake Eden to knock some sense into her.  HOWEVER, it kept me interested in what would happen next that I couldn't put it down. A quick and entertaining read. I will read more by Samantha Bailey

While the plot is well-developed and the storyline is good, the actual writing is cringe-worthy. I would be surprised to learn that she passed a high school English class. The book bounced between first and third person voice making it difficult to understand who was speaking. She also used past-present tense which is difficult to follow in this type of book.
