"Europa fell off and died along the way, but that's not important."

"It was probably important to her."
slower than I hoped, still read through it like a hurricane! I love the trust building between Percy and Annabeth and Percy's interactions with Tyson (and Grover convincing a Cyclops to marry him instead of eat him is pure literary gold.)
"Percy," Annabeth side, trying to keep her cool, "we're going to Polyphemus's island! Polyphemus is an S-i-k... a C-y-k..." She stamped her foot in frustration. As smart as she was, Annabeth was dyslexic, too. We could've been here all night while she tried to spell Cyclops.

I didn't think this book was quite as good as the first book. I did like it though. I'm liking this series so far.
