While not perfect, I really enjoyed the book and will definitely read again at some point (I actually listened to it on Audible and the voice actor was amazing).
Something I really liked about this book, and that seems somewhat uncommon, was that the main characters were well into adulthood. This really brought a maturity to the book and their relationship. They were comfortable in who they were and how to navigate a relationship with another person. I didn't find myself rolling my eyes at their choices/behavior. The male love interest has a healthy appreciation of the female main character and her independence/abilities; he's not controlling (toxic) as romance books unfortunately tend to romanticize.
