Hmmm... I'm conflicted. This is definitely a very addictive series as proven by the fact that I flew through this book in only a couple of hours, but the plot of this one was kind of slow up until about 75% through. I can definitely feel myself starting to grow more attached to the characters, however. We'll see how Shadow Kiss goes, but I have a feeling I'm going to fly through this entire series in only a matter of days... stay tuned, friends.

Vampire school stories! Woo! I read this, the second book in the series, without having read the first, so I appreciated the nice explanatory foreword - Hi, I'm Rose, I'm a half-vampire, half-human being training to defend the gentle nice vampires against the bad evil vampires. I have a forbidden love and issues with my mother who adandoned me.

Good fun, and I thought the good/evil vampire thing was actually kind of interesting, and didn't feel like someone randomly trying to think of a twist to put on the vampire genre (like Blue Bloods did). I'm going to go back and read the first book, and then go on with the series.

Frostbite is a chilling sequal that you won't be able to get enough of. Dimitri and Rose finally realize what they have for each other, but know they have to deny it. You'll like it, you'll love it, you wount be able to get enough of it!!

The feels! Arh! This book! This series! It's so good and addicting. I feel like it's only getting better. Rose gets herself in so many situations where I'm like 'OH MY GOD! What the hell are you doing now?' but she's also so kick-ass and witty. I can't help but love her despite her irking moments. And just like the first book I found myself flipping through the acknowledgements section hoping there's more to the story. I never want these books to end.

Still a great read! Especially the last 100pages. It moved a little bit slower than I remembered, but that may also be because I already know some of the things that will happen. A lot of this book has to do with continuing to learn about the characters and this world, and we're getting things set up/established for the later books. I know more action is to come, so I'm looking forward to it.
