Dr. Seuss's ABC

Dr. Seuss

This book is great for children and a fun way to learn the ABCs. It is entertaining and a good read.

Fun way to learn the alphabet, Seuss-ified. It contains my name in the 'J' section, so 5/5 stars.

The antics of Dr. Seuss enchants beginning readers ages two to three years old in this alphabet-filled fantasy circus. Written and illustrated by this lovable author, ABC begins with the entire alphabet pasted to the inside cover, front and back, for easy reference. From there we quickly move past “Aunt Annie’s Alligator” (4) and a ceiling-strutting camel because we can and learning our alphabet should be fun! Every flip of the page leads us to Seussian-style humans and creatures we never knew could exist.

This remains a favorite, silly ABC book. I like the repetition of letters in capital and lower case, as well as the silly words that grab a toddler's attention.

One of the cutest ABC books I've read, my issue is that it has some made-up words, but I think it'll do the trick in getting the children to pronounce and say the letters. very fun and engaging for kids.

More Seussian rhyming. This time with the alphabet. Curious George's is shorter but not as interesting.
funny informative lighthearted fast-paced

My mom bought LB a copy of this book. I don’t love Dr. Seuss for a few reasons, but my kiddo LOVES this with the small trim size and cadence for a great read-aloud.
