very little plot, just an excuse for demon smut. would have been better with a storyline attached. characters had potential.

Graphic: Sexual content

Not bad but not great. There was barely any plot. I got the feeling this wasn’t the first book in this series with the other characters from other HEA making an appearance. There was some sexual tension for several chapters but again, very little plot. Quick read with very little holding it together.

Cute but somewhat vicious
The FMC in this book is a witch who summons a demon. She is a spinster and doesn’t like the rules of colonial society. By the end of the book, I still understood nothing about the MMCs character other than he didn’t like hell but he did like the FMC. Because of that, it was harder to invest in the love story.
Spice: 3ish scenes
Triggers: violence/death, SA (not by MMC)
