I always make sure that I one-click Tiffany Reisz book as soon as they are out because I'm 100% sure it would be worth every penny I spend on her. I have been her fan since the The Queen and I have made a mission in my life to read whatever she writes. Even if she one day decides to pen down a dictionary, I will read it.
I had been in a severe book funk for few years after my masters and wasn't able to read books continuously. So The Rose was my last ditch at trying to get me out of the block and get back to world of books and after this book, yes I did.
I adored this book from the start to the very end. Tiffany knows how to do her research and reading the myths has always been so interesting from her point of view. She has always managed to infuse magic in her words and it works every damn time. I will highly recommend this book to every one who loves a good mythology.

I didn't have any idea what this one was about, I just always purchase her in physical format sight unseen. This isn't normally my thing but it was creative and sexy as hell! It probably would have helped if I knew my Greek myths better, but I enjoyed it.
First off I just have to say how much I love this cover. This book pretty muck takes the reader on several erotic fantasies based on Greek mythology. I have to say the Tiffany Reisz did a wonderful job with her vivid attention to detail.
Every time the couple explored a new fantasy, I saw it play out in my head and felt like I was there!
I really liked August and Lia as a couple. I have read a few books by this author but none written like this before and I mean that in a good way. Apparently I need to check out “The Red” by this author and see what I’ve been missing!
This story held my attention from beginning to end. If you like provocative reads that sweep you away to majestic places be sure to check this story out!

Literally could not put this down-finished it in one night. I love everything Reisz. It breaks my heart every time I finish one of her books because I instantly miss the characters and want to go back and live in their worlds.

The Rose is a beautiful erotic mix of Greek mythology, a fairytale and a romance. Reisz just enchants her readers, and that was even more the case with this story.

I enjoyed this book but I think I liked the first one (The Red) better. I'm not entirely sure why but in the end, it doesn't really matter because Reisz did a fantastic job with both.
The Rose is focused on Lia, the daughter of Mona Lisa from The Red, and I was happy that we got to see a bit further into those characters lives through Lia's story. The mythology and power behind the relic really drives the story and creates the connection between Lia and August at first but I loved how Reisz used the conflict that Lia was having to develop something more.
Overall a great book in this series and I'm definitely intrigued to see what Reisz writes next!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the early copy in exchange for an honest review.
