Fast and Furious, Just Finished, Review will change..
I feel like there really aren’t words for this one right now. I loved this re-telling. I don’t want to say much more than that yet because I think going into this blind is integral to falling deeply in love with the characters in this book.
Sidenote: If you haven’t read The Red or if it’s been a while go back and read it again because you will see some familiar faces. ❤️

This was an interesting read. I really liked how the author did her research on the ancient greek history and the way she writes from Lia's perspective was very intriguing
4.3 stars
I genuinely don't know what to say.
Listen, this book made me feel a rollercoaster of emotions, I had tears in my eyes and forgot reality, being so invested in the story. It was fun and cathartic.
But something did lower it for me and it was towards the ending and the reveal. It felt a bit anticlimactic and forced on the plot in the way it was done.
It saddens me very much, because I wanted to give this book a perfect score. As I was reading I thought maybe, after a long while, I finally encountered a fiver.
It was a very good book, don't get me wrong! The characters are fun, though I was worried of how Mona and Spencer would be portrayed here now that they weren't the main characters and it was done nicely. The plot was pretty good, I loved the concept, it was unique and I enjoyed the execution.
Reisz writes the sex scene differently then I've read from others. They become their own plots and are treated as stories, and not simply a point in the plot. It is original and enjoyable, in my opinion.
Because it all was so good, the disappointment I felt at the end hit me harder then it should. And maybe at a lesser story it would have been good, but this one needed to up the level at the end.
I recommend this book very much! It makes you FEEL.

This was sooooooo goooooood.
I liked it a lot more than The Red, which felt totally filthy just for filth's sake. The Rose is a LOT more romantic. I like reading the sex, don't get me wrong, but I really need a HEAVY dose of romance/love throughout so that helped me get through this. Oh, and I adore Greek mythology.

I loved everything about this book!
I first have to preface this review by saying that I haven’t read the first book in the series but that did not affect my comprehension or enjoyment of this book. It can be read as a standalone. This is also my first Tiffany Reisz book.
This is some damn good erotica. There is a lot of sex, but it was done so well. Sometimes erotica can be a little cringey, but this one wasn’t. Who knew that greek mythology fantasies could be so hot?
I loved that there was also a plot; it wasn’t just all sex. There was actual substance to it.
The characters were fantastic as well. Lia and August had sizzling chemistry. They were perfect together. Lia’s parents were an unexpectedly hilarious touch. Even though they were barely in the book, I liked Lia’s friends. They seemed so cool and I low-key want a spin-off book about their sexual adventures.
The book is also incredibly well written. I can tell why so many people love Tiffany Reisz’s book. She knows how to write!
Lastly, the book was so sex-positive. There was a lot of emphasis on both men and women enjoying sex.
Overall, this was an impressive erotic romance. I will definitely be reading more from Tiffany Reisz.
I really liked this book!! A lot of Greek mythology which I wasn’t expecting and a lot of fantasy too! It was really fun and the ending took me by surprise for sure!
Another Masterpiece
After forgetting I had pre-ordered this, it was a delight to see the email that it was released and waiting on my Kindle. I devoured it, and the writing devoured me. The book is smart, compelling, and unabashedly sensual and dirty in the most delicious way. I was delighted to feel like a part of the fantasy.

When I first read the description of this book I laughed. The idea of a magical sex fantasy cup was hilarious to me. However, I also thought it would be a fun romp through the pages so I requested it and got to reading. Having never read anything my Tiffany Reisz before, and not realizing this is a companion piece/sequel I really went in blind. Rather surprisingly, this book ended up being a wonderful blend of romance, sex, fantasy, and I would even say a sort of coming of age in the sense that Lia reconnected with herself.
While I find the undercover escort agency a bit of a stretch, it was a simple yet effective way to add some intrigue and suspense to the story. However, my favourite parts were reading about Lia and August bantering back and forth with each other. It was so darn wholesome, considering the subject matter. Did they screw their was through a number of Greek myths? Yes. Would I have read an entire novel that was just them sassing each other? Also yes.
Reisz has a keen eye for good dialogue and interpersonal relationships (no, not THAT - well, that too but also just people interacting and caring about each other). For that alone I am tempted to pick up a few of her other books for my own shelves. If you want a feel good, sexy romance with a Greek history lesson thrown in then The Rose would be a great choice for you.

This was a really good read! It had one slow spot near the end that made me put it down for a few days, but I wanted to finish it all the same. Lia and August are soo cute. Major props to Tiffany Reisz for writing yet another sexy damsel with a backbone. Reisz is one of my favorite erotica authors and there is a damn good reason why. This book is definitely one of them.
