This is the prequel to Puppet where it all gets started between Charlotte and Xander and the secrets that go hand and hand of being a Hawthorne and a Lazetti that the offspring must suffer from the sins of the father's. These 2 grew up together and became best friend's until 1 day when Charlotte was 16 her parent's tell her she's going to school in London all she can think is how do I tell Xander she's leaving. Well Xander takes it the wrong way that she's deserting him and they both say some thing's that they can't take back. Will she see him again and be able to patch things up?
This book pulled me in from the start and I didn't want to stop reading it. I needed more of Xander and Charlotte which you get in book 1 Puppet.

I found myself having to remind myself that this is a High School story. But, I’m excited to see where this author goes with this story.

A short introduction to a new series.

A great start to a new series. With this short introduction you can tell that the books that are to follow are going to be filled with angst and heartbreak. Looking forward to seeing just how these characters evolve. If you enjoy reading dark twisted bully romance then I suggest you pick up your copy of Prick today.
