honestly im just mad i wasted money on this. the plot points mentioned in the blurb doesnt happen until half way through the book? ugh it was so stupid, i hate read this

I love this book <3 so much pain

My first Helen Hoang book!

I initially started reading this book to join a group buddy read but I couldn't finish it in a month. But when I went on a road trip (and couldn't read words or I'll get dizzy), I listened to this audiobook instead and finished it in one sitting!

Halfway to the end, I just realized that the narrator's voice sounded familiar... It was Natalie Naudus, the same narrator for another audiobook I finished: One Last Stop. I LOVE HER. *chef's kiss*

The Heart Principle was such a great story! I enjoyed the narration so much even though it felt like a rollercoaster ride... Great rep too! I actually can't really tell because I am not autistic (as far as I know) but it's really great to see topics like this brought into an enjoyable romance story (and have an impact on the storyline!!).

Highly recommended for romance book readers!

I read the reviews and was quite optimistic of this book being a well written romance, but instead I read the most gut wrenching book I’ve read to date. Ana struggles felt so familiar and made me feel seen in a way i didn’t know I needed.
I was sobbing, hollering and just broke while reading and couldn’t quite understand why. I expected a romance novel but was gifted with so much more.
I rate on feelings, but this book deserves so much more that 5 stars, thank you so much Helen, I haven’t ever enjoyed a book this much in a personal level

This was my first novel by Hoang and now I want to read all of her books. The characters draw you in and you are instantly in love with them. I wanted Anna to succeed and find happiness so much in this book. For me she was very relatable and while that stressed me out at points it only had me cheering for her more. To me this novel is an incredible journey of self love.
