LOVED THIS!!! so fun :) i love when they dont even know that theyre yearning YIPPIEEEE ! thoroughly enjoyed and also got weirdly emotional at the end??? its an easy read, with some stakes

This book was an absolutely delightful magical fun read. It was the perfect cosy fantasy for me. The characters were all quirky, adorable in their own ways, and easy to like. The magic system was innovative and interesting and the stakes were high enough to keep me reading whilst also knowing everything would be okay in the end! I can’t wait for the next instalment.

I really enjoyed this, tho Leo's behavior sometimes irritated me (his alcoholism is not cute and I hope this gets adressed?!) His character arc was predictable, but I didn't mind that. It was fun and left me wanting more. Can't wait for the next instalment!
