THIS WAS AMAZING and, look, I know I'm not the first person to say that because this is one of the best loved classics of all time, but, truly, this book devoured me. I want to inject it directly into my veins. The yearning is what really got me--if anyone has recommendations for similar reads, please, please, please, give them to me.

I really enjoyed this. Jane Eyre as a character is really easy to root for and the story has a gripping moody atmosphere. The middle portion of the story almost feels like a thriller as well because it's so gripping and tense. I also loved the prose in this.

Good start, had to get through a slow middle section, but the last 200 pages were GREAT

I'm usually a fan of the classics and enjoy reading them. Jane Eyre was an exception. I felt like the story moved very slowly, which lead to me laying the book down and walking away for days at a time.
