This rating is reflective of how much I enjoyed this book when I originally read it, however I recognize a lot of the issues this book has now, and probably wouldn't rate it as highly anymore, despite really enjoying all rereads.

I completely forgot how the first half of this book lulls you into thinking it'll be pretty normal with just some teenage growing pain issues...and then BAM! Hits you right in the freaking feelings. 😭

I tore through this book. It was a fast, enthralling read, and I want to pick up the next one right now. This one left what was happening with Rose, Lissa, and Adrian to be continued, and I am excited to see what comes out of that.
I really hate the whole “blood whores” thing. That wording just doesn’t sit well with me. Other than that, I enjoyed this book.

I love how each book has its own plot plus over arching plot, and just based off my nostalgia and reread, it's getting better with every book. I remember the 3rd being my favorite out of the first four, but we will see! <3
