I love the writing style, there’s something so satisfying about the way Sawyer words things.
Tho I’d wish this would’ve been a novel instead of a novella. I feel like the characters deserve way more depth and explanation.
It was a short story about two characters who are in love, while one of them is hunted for falsely accused murder. I want to know so much more about this world and these characters. I really hope they come back in later novels of Quinn’s.

Another astounding prequel to an upcoming book. Hot and emotional with vivid characters who’ll capture your heart. The author is very, very good at writing love scenes that border on erotica, but she never forgets to involve the characters’ feelings. Definitely a very promising new HR author!
