This is a quick read. This is a read that went to fast and was amazing read that pulls you into this book. This book has trauma and a relationship that takes time to build as their trauma effects the trust. This is a short read that fills you heart.

I wanted to love this book.. I TRIED.. I mean who doesn't want to see that forbidden police officer and civilian relationship where Sparks go flying everywhere?
BUT within the 1st chapter, not only is there an unrealistic blatant disregard as authority, it's not really believable..
"The sheriff walks up to a random woman he's never met and grabs her butt, threatens her, then hauls her into his car." He knows it's wrong and is using his authority, but continues to do so to the extreme... it's just.. not believable. && I couldn't move past it..
Maybe the middle or ending of the book will be better, but me? I couldn't finish it.

Cuffed love is an insta love book about the mayors black sheep daughter and the new sheriff. The instalove takes place in chapter 1 with the sheriff. Personally I like instalove however this was almost instant instalove & I wished the characters had a chapter or two to build on the instalove before diving straight in.
The book has a great story line & the perfect amount of suspense. It was a perfect palette cleanser inbetween heavier books.

This wasn’t my favorite by SJ. The storyline has a lot of promise but the character development was not believable as far as law enforcement goes. Noah was written as a standup guy but showed blatant disregard and abused his authority right off the bat. Don’t get me wrong the spice was hot but I know this could have been so much better.

It was a quick instalove story. Othella (FMC) is coming home in hope to restore her relationship with her adoptive mother, the mayor. She meets Noah, the new sheriff. He immediatly becomes obsessed with her.
It is a novella, but I do think that there was enough plot and explanation into her past. The spice was good, but quick.
I didn't like the nickname for Othella, or the way he constantly uses it.
But overall it was a good story and I read it in less than an hour.
