This was a bunch of tropes and popular concepts regurgitated into a very fast burn and underdeveloped plot. Like, the ideas were there and the initial plot was good. But the pace and character development were a mess.
Plus, the romance was filled with misogynistic and toxic concepts. The sex scenes read like scripts of bad porno, where women appear to enjoy being choked, spitted at and brutally bruised during sex.
And the icing on the cake was reading the three guys complaining about the girl’s dad calling her a slut and next scene, one of them calling her just that during sex.

liked all the characters (none of them were obnoxious or annoying) and the plot was okay given how much smut there is in the book. my only issue was that it was a bit insta lovey but the plot and the smut were good enough to make me want to read the sequel.

this book is the den of vipers but less vulgar. it was enjoyable enough to keep reading but im annoyed with where it left off. there wasn't enough tension and everything fell too perfectly in place too soon as if the author was rushing.
I finally got around to reading this series and until now I’m impressed. It’s DoV but with better (aka just existing) plot, the harem is smaller and the FMC is of Romanian descent.
Scarlet is still the “hard rock graphic tees, doc martens and tattoos” type of girl but at least she’s not so out there. I liked the little Romanian words or sentences, me being from the little country no one knows about, but just like I expected, some words were butchered. One, actually. It’s “scumpo”, not “scrumpo”.
Seb is the golden retriever killer, Tristan is the alpha with a soft spot and Elliot is the classic grumpy “last guy to join the fun”.
Not much else to say about them, their personalities aren’t really that developed yet. Onto the next one.

Okay let me start by saying WOW!!! I had no idea this was a debut novel the writing style is that of a well-seasoned author. It was everything and so freaking much more… Scarlet and the guys have this unbelievable chemistry between them for Sebastian its pretty instant and he takes a liking to her immediately the other two not as fast but pretty soon after. Scarlet is just a whole ass vibe lets be real, she is a complete badass and doesn’t take crap from anyone also my complete girl crush. The author had my by the balls from the very first page all the way to that jaw dropping cliffy that has me begging for more. Dana crafted the perfect story with an amazing plot, amazing characters and some of the hottest spicy scenes ever (you know what I’m talking about) ladies hold onto them panties, hell you might as well have an extra set laying around to change into!!! If you love a RH, mafia and a badass MFC with all the things and I mean ALL THE THINGS then you need to grab yourself a copy of this one ASAP… 100000 Stars!!!!
