For a debut novel I thought it was pretty good. Although I do hate when books leave on such cliffhangers! This book is a mafia romance with kinky sex and sharing. There were a few editing mistakes but I’m not one of those people who go crazy when things aren’t perfect. I enjoyed the plot of the book but felt we are missing a good chunk of the story I would have really enjoyed if this book was a little longer and we got more information on her family, the guys past, and what she’s done in the past 3 years. Also I want to know if we’ll ever see Kenna again? I gave four stars because I enjoyed the set up of the book, I have faith that it has the potential to be really good and I absolutely love Sebastian(how can you not??) I read on kindle unlimited and if you subscribe to the service and like mafia romance definitely check it out!

I mean, it was okay. I honestly think that if I hadn't read "A den of vipers" before this one that I might have enjoyed it more. But because that isn't so, this fell short. It felt more like a milder version of that book and since I happen to be one of the few who love A den of vipers, that made this book just not do it for me.
I will read the next installment because I'm curious as to how it ends.

THIS IS AMAZING REVERSE HAREM DARK/MAFIA ROMANCE. I don’t know which of Scars boys I like the most!!! I like that they all have their own personalities and deal with Scar’s stubbornness in different (sexy) ways. I couldn’t put this down and I am so mad at the cliffhanger ending!!! Now I have to wait till December!? That’s practically criminal!

I can forgive a fast paced, seemingly plotless story. I can forgive cringey pet names every other sentence (“little one” and “pet” I’m looking at you) and I can forgive a complete lack of world building but I just can’t when you put them all together. The writing was so bad! I couldn’t even force myself to continue past 18% to see if it picked up and this book is ONLY 160 PAGES!
