SOOOO GOOD. I'm completely obsessed. I love Betty and Veronica, they're both babes. Also Jughead <3. The art was WONDERFUL. I'll have a more detailed review up soon.

I enjoyed it. I've never been one to read Archie comics, so it was all new to me. (I'm now a big fan of Jughead!) I enjoyed the art, and the story was okay... kind cute, kind of juvenile.

In the 70s, the Archie comics were the second ones I ever discovered---right after Richie Rich. I enjoyed them for many years, and then forgot about Riverdale and all its residents. Then an Archie revival began, and last month I binge-watched Riverdale on Netflix, which was so very different from the group I remembered.
When I put this title on hold, I thought it was what that CW series was based on. Nope, this seems more like the old school Archie, though certainly with more vibrant, better-drawn art, and a more modern storyline.
I liked it, and now I've got a hold on the second volume. Thank you for updating my childhood faves, y'all!
