I love the nostalgic, comforting feeling I got while reading. The plot dragged on a little too long for me, but I really enjoy the characters.

FINALLYYYYY i took quite a while on that one lol. but it was so cute!!!!! one of the first classics i've TRULY enjoyed reading. i really enjoyed spending time with these characters and experiencing the mundanities of life alongside them. i didn't realize there were TWO volumes and was waiting for certain things to happen for quite some time until i understood...they're part of the second book. i'll read it at some point, though likely not right now lol. CUTIEEEE
