I really enjoyed this story! A fun mystery and I loved the Amish Village with its shops, hotel and restaurant. It seems like that would be a fun place to visit in real life. Looking forward to the rest of the trilogy.

This is my first book by this author. I thought the start was good and I adore Amish stories. I was very excited actually to read Amish cozy but half way through it was really slow and as the story continues it didn't bring my interest back.

I've never had that feeling where I've felt so brain dead after a book, but this one was really not for me.
I thought I'd try out the Amish fiction genre - and either it's not for me, or this was a really bad choice.
The storyline was too plain, and for characters to go from non-speaking next door neighbours to inlove and engaged within two weeks.... it was too much!!

I have been hearing and reading quite a bit about Vanetta Chapman's Amish books but had never had a chance to read any. My library doesn't have any available for download and I could never find any free. I found this one, first in the series, on sale for 99 cents or 1.99, and so I grabbed it. Good cozy mystery set in an Amish village. Likable characters and engaging story. I hope to find more of hers in the future to read, maybe my library will eventually get them :)

Found this book to be extremely frustrating. The main character believes and has faith in a young Amish girl to run her coffee shop yet does not have the same faith in a young female local police officer.
Also found the whole 'sky is falling' perception of the MC frustrating. The entire no one believes me so I must do it all myself plot line was frustrating for me to enjoy. Did finish the book so I could understand the "why".
