I definitely recommend reading the book over the audiobook. I’ve done both and I just felt more engaged reading it (and highlighting sections that I found interesting). Unfortunately I did hit a reading slump halfway through the book. This was not because of the book itself, because I enjoyed reading it, but found myself not reaching for it (or any book) for quite some time. I listened to the audiobook a year prior and for some reason didn’t care for it or comprehend anything that was said, so I decided to give it another try after getting a physical copy for work. I did in fact find myself rethinking and see myself revisiting this book again in the future as a refresher.

This book is so great! I rarely want to read anything twice but this one has such a breadth of ideas and wonderful concepts I’m already looking forward to it.

This should be required reading for every teenager or anyone going into college. Really makes you rethink the way you think. It’s hard to explain, but it’s worth a read. Great on audio and read by the author. Interesting stories and anecdotes to backup the science and psychology.
