I really liked the examples Adam gives and the approachable manner in which he helps us reshape our own biases and thinking.

I believe there's something for everyone to take away from Think Again. I listened to the audiobook and it was enjoyable

Decent insight into understanding and living outside your instincts. Didn't exepct to read the entire thing but ended up mostly just agreeing with the perspective. Kept me engaged enough but not much in the way of revelation.

Everyone go read this book right now.

A book about why humans often do not rethink their assumptions. In a culture so focused on projecting confidence, I think this book provides a refreshing perspective promoting the benefits of humility. It was well written and full of examples.
It has many generalizations that try to make the text accessible, such as ‘A scientist would rethink her assumptions, but a politician or preacher would not’ (paraphrase). Lumping people into camps like this ignores the nuance and commonality of people, and I wish the author would have rethought this part of his book (pun intended). If you don’t get bothered by generalizations, this might be a nice read.

I am an overthinker, but many of these rethinking ideas help give my thinking process more focus. I also found the parts about the kinds of actions and conversations that close off the mind to new ideas helpful. I bought this one so I could revisit it.
