Eh... I'm just not sure how to rate or review this one... I mean OBVIOUSLY it's not believable, but y'all, it's called FICTION... so that won't sway my review one way or the other.

The biggest issue I had with it was the FMC! Oh my, how much Greer drove me crazy. I just can't... I almost DNF it, but I wanted to continue just to get to the end, and now ugh. Cliffhanger, of course. So obviously I WILL finish the series, hoping book 2 will grab me more.

That being said, my, my, my on the

This book. These characters. This story.
Why am I just now learning about this. I absolutely am obsessed with this story.
The intricacies and the complexity of the relationship between these characters is so good. I especially love that none of the characters are labeled as far as sexual orientations are concerned. I like that they just are.
Maxen and Embry. I think I might be more invested with their relationship far more than I am with Maxen and Greer’s relationship. I love these men so much.

Whew! Glad it's finally over.

I got bored of this book fast, I'm not really into all the BDSM stuff. And the only reason I was able to complete it was because of Embry, the only character I actually liked in the entire book.

The story was okay, didn't keep my attention for too long mainly because I didn't care for 99% of the characters.
Honestly, I didn't want the three of them to work on that relationship at all. Ash and Greer should have just been together.
Ash and Greer love each other, Embry and Ash love each other but while Embry loves Greer, in my opinion, she doesn't love him back.

I don't care how much she acts like she does. She made it clear twice that if worse comes to worse, she would choose Ash, she would ALWAYS choose Ash. So she would be with Ash, no questions asked, but she can't fight for Embry? Well, I think she doesn't love him like she says she does.

I could see the love between Ash and her but the same can't be said for Embry and her. The "love" felt bland and one-sided. Embry deserves so much better and I wish with all my heart that he finds another woman (or man) that would love him as much as he loved Greer.

There's a cliffhanger - be warned

Would have been a 5 star read if it weren't for the cliffhanger at the end. I hate it when authors do that to their unsuspecting readers, and I shall reward this treachery by not purchasing the follow up book. Otherwise, fab spicy story of a love triangle featuring a president, his vice president and an American princess. I listened to the audio of this and enjoyed the narration. Even though this was a one POV novel, the narrator did a great job voicing the male characters.
