If I had read this book as a standalone, I likely would’ve given it a slightly lower rating. Since I’ve read The Legends of Thezmarr series, it deserves the higher rating. Very Enjoyable!

I loved getting more of Tal's story in this book! The plot was easy to follow and had me on edge needing to keep reading.  The banter between Tal and Drue was perfect and I love how their relationship changes throughout the book.  Also loved the spice we got between them!  I read this after finishing Fate & Furies, but I think it could read as a prequel or any time throughout the series!

I loved my first dive into Thezmarr.

Drue was just the type of strong FMC that I love. Talemir was the perfect mix of strength and vulnerablity.

Their banter was fun and their heat was hot! I loved that he let her be her. Didn’t try to control or stop her.

Very excited to start Blood and Steel!

Such an amazing love story! I read this after Vows & Ruins and I was so connected to the characters and devoured their story!
