A good book, but one I won't ever read again because of that twist. The twist near the end is out of character, and Grisham knows this as he points it out multiple times. This is an emotional book in many ways; don't question the probability/logic of events too closely. All of that said, I enjoyed it until I cried.

Not your typical John Gisham novel (mystery, thriller, court drama) - but instead a beautiful sports story that will capture your heart (even if you are not a huge basketball fan) that speaks to the power of family and love.
Entertaining read that starts hot but loses steam by the end. Likeable characters and decent sports story

Not up to par with his other books. He needs to stick to courtroom drama.
Couldn't do it. I love Grisham, but this book bored m6.
