If you NEED a book that will keep you smiling a stupid happy grin the entire time, one click now. If you want a good story, great chemistry, and a friendship that will make you envious: buy this now. If you still need more convincing, how about this:

Geeky tech nerd with tons of money
Beautifully haunted woman

He is socially awkward and comes off as frigid.
She is a PR and media manager.

They have an unusual history, great rapport, and general ease in each other's company. They work well together, are great friends, and are only ever honest. It doesn't hurt that they both have trouble trying not to visualize the other naked.

Love. Love is complex. It means different things to different people. There different kinds of love.

Fear and doubt can cripple a person. Both know this in their own way, but can they overcome it...

But lines drawn in the sand seem to be fading in the wind...Can the winds of change bring more or will it take away?

I loved this story! It was beautifully written, perfectly paced, and the characters are so well portrayed that I was drawn in from start to finish!

Xavier Gaines has built a successful software company but he has a serious social anxiety problem that makes him come across as cold and uncaring in public. Peyton Smoke knew Xavier before he became successful in business (attended high school together) and, as a media relations professional, he seeks her out to reshape his public image to improve his prospects of landing additional contracts.

After two years of working together, Xavier can no longer ignore the intense attraction he feels for Peyton. When Peyton signals that she feels something more for Xavier too? Fireworks! Forget the public persona hampered by his social anxiety - he is a strong alpha male in private!

Watching how these seemingly opposites in personality grow together is truly an example of counterbalance. Their personalities offset one another so perfectly!

Ein Review folgt noch. Kurz zusammengefasst: das Buch war mir viel zu fokussiert auf Sex und hat es dabei geschafft, auch noch kindisch zu sein. Es hat mir überhaupt nicht gefallen.
