Lovely artwork; story a collection of aspirational cliches.

Bought this for my FD7 “A.” Wrote her a note on the back cover to read when she transitions home. 💜

Meant to be didactic. I enjoyed this book with its "be unique" message.

Cute cover. Some of the pictures were really neat, but the story is uninspiring and strange when the character suddenly gets a name two or three pages before the end.

Read this to my fourth graders. They thought it was awful. Even a kid recognizes patronizing clichés.

Reading with all grades in preparation for Family Reading Night, where they're painting rocks for our rock garden.

A sweet story to help a child understand it's okay to be different and it's important to be yourself. Definitely a one-on-one lap read, not a group read aloud.
