Die Erinnerungen an die Kindheit und Jugend in der DDR sind faszinierend! Der politische Rückblick erlaubt ohne scharfe Analysen ein Durchleben von sechzehn Jahren Weltpolitik aus deutscher Perspektive. Interessant - aber auch nicht mehr. Kürzer und prägnanter wäre es ein wertvolleres Buch.

It's a little dry and boring in the usual sense, but interesting as far as the behind the scenes of the political decisions in the modern world.

Merkel doesn't talk shit, and I understand why. But I really wish she would.
