I have absolutely loved Queenie. It is an amazingly written book of modern life from the eyes of Queenie. It is highly relatable in some areas and understandable in others. Queenie is one of the best books I have ever read in my life and I would highly recommend it for everyone. It is a truly wholesome experience. You will not regret reading this book and this book was really hyped even before I read it. Now that I read it, I think it definitely is worth the hype and deserves even more.

There was a point where I got really frustrated by Queenie’s self destruction, but in the end I was rooting for her so hard. I think this book is a great look into mental health struggles and the struggles of being a Black woman in a world with so much casual racism and fetishization.
