While reading Cursed Bunny, I felt like I was entering an eerie and haunting place I didn’t want to leave. The stories were not only creepy but also deeply engaging and thought-provoking, immersing me in the characters’ worlds. However, once I closed the book, only a few stories lingered in my mind. Out of the ten stories, four stood out to me as particularly memorable: "The Head," "The Embodiment," "Home Sweet Home," and "Ruler of the Winds and Sands."

As with most collections and anthologies, different stories will resonate more deeply with different readers. Interestingly, the titular story, "Cursed Bunny," wasn’t one that I was particularly drawn to. The stories that stuck with me ranged from cautionary to chilling, with fresh and bold prose. They deconstruct social norms, greed, love, desperation, and much more, often reading like modern folk tales.

I see myself revisiting this collection, especially to relish the stories I may have overlooked during my initial read.

3,5⭐️ bardziej. Tbh nienawidzę oceniać zbiorów opowiadań, bo oczywiście jedne podobają i przemawiają do mnie bardziej a inne mniej. W tej książce znajduje się cały przekrój opowiadań - od ala baśniowej fantastyki po groteskowe horrory. Każde z nich ma swoje przesłanie i myślę, że z tego też względu książka jest godna polecenia.

I really liked some of the stories in the book! I felt that others were very slow and dragged on a little too much. I did have to look up analysis on some of the stories after reading them. It put me in a slight reading slump but some of the stories were very creative and I could finish very fast. I liked how Chung’s writing changed a bit throughout each of the stories.
