Knox and Memphis were a really fun couple. I really enjoyed the tension from Memphis’ backstory. I felt that Drake’s kidnapping was dealt with really quickly which was a little disappointing as it would have given Memphis a chance to really show the growth in her inner strength, but over all, great story!
Two words. Knox Eden. This man!!! I can’t decide who I like more…him or Griffin. Honestly, could be a solid tie. I’ll take them both, any of the Eden men actually.
Anyway, this book! Definitely one of my favs in the series. Memphis has my entire heart. She is strong, resilient, capable…everything I aspire to be and more.
I can’t even imagine being in her situation. I just wanted to protect her and Drake from everything!! When she cried, I cried. At least she had Knox’s incredible cooking (among other things) to make her feel better. She deserves the world. As does little baby Drake.

Knox & Memphis's story is the perfect he falls first & hard vibe. I love that the mystery surrounds both their backgrounds, which gets teased until the reveal. There is some foreshadowing of the big, suspenseful moment, but I didn't see the twist about the who & why. I love it when that happens with a romantic suspense. The chemistry & affection between not Memphis & Knox but Knox & Drake is beautiful. The MMC falling for "not his" baby is done so well here! The dual narration by Maxine Mitchell & Jasone Clarke is wonderful - I love this duo.
Generally, this book was ok. It was just quite a bit cringe and overly dramatic and a few things of the premise seemed a bit too far-fetched.
