I was gripped by the story from the moment I started reading.
Could not put it down until I got to the end.
Nico and Naomi met in the most worse possible moment.
And after that encounter Naomi is now on Nico’s radar.
Nico is the kind of guy that does not give the benefit of the doubt to anyone.
He takes action. Then questions. And at times there aren’t even questions asked.
When he finds something about Naomi this is exactly what he did.
No questions asked just assumptions. I really wanted to sl@p him upside the head.
And shake him till his teeth rattled. He made me so mad!
Naomi is just a sweetheart. A daughter of a rich politician. But makes her own way.
She’s a brilliant dancer and an amazing friend. She is someone you just can’t help loving.
Nico and Naomi’s interactions are intense and tension filled. I could feel the energy between them.
Their chemistry is just as intense and dirty sexy. They just are explosive together.
Danger lurks at every turn. No one is safe. But who is the target and why is the big question.
Mafia business, dirty politicians, power hungry people and a secret society.
Makes for no stop action and suspense.
And Naomi is caught in the middle of the chaos brewing.
Nico did redeem himself when he found out he had wronged Naomi.
He genuinely was devastated. I just wish she made him grovel more.
I enjoyed Dance of Ruin and I’m excited for the next book.

There’s something magnetic about the way Jagger Cole writes. He knows exactly how to create a man who will burn the world down for his girl 🔥 And Nico? That man is feral for Naomi. The obsession. The darkness. The touch her and die energy?? I ATE. IT. UP. 🖤

But. Yes... we have a but.
What happened to Naomi in the beginning? DEVASTATING. I CRIED FOR HER 💔 And I really needed more DEPTH. More healing. More anything. She deserved more 😢

🖤 Anti hero
🖤 Virgin heroine
🖤 Possessive
🖤 Enemies to lovers

🖤 Secret society

💌 I’ll read everything Jagger writes. That’s it. Thank you for the ARC 🖤

The dance series are my new favorite books.  Every man is obsessed with their ladies!  And I am here for it!

Noami’s only sin is who she was born too. Her politician dad who puts her in danger and allows her to become the target of Nico’s attention.  And once he sees her he cannot look away.  Unfortunately his obsession allows him to over look the details and that makes him hurt Noami.  Will she forgive his darkness or walk away?

The intensity of this story was next level. I found myself having to put the book down so I could just process some of the things that were happening. Jagger always knows how to tell a story that has me engaged from page one but also has me questioning if I should like the characters or not. The depth and detail in each story makes them so easy to get lost in but also understanding this world is a place you shouldn’t want to get lost in. I know I’ll be digging through his older works while I wait for the next release.

Wowww could not put this one down. In no way did I see where this was going with the plot and I’m still reeling about Vaughn because now I need a book. I did enjoy some of the mild degradation in this and how much he was an ass. I also love to see how he was slowly falling for Naomi. I would have like to see more groveling per the whole blackmail. Cannot wait to continue this series!

Nico and Naomi were a ride!! From the first chapter, I was hooked and gobbled this up! This was a relationship built on blackmail and manipulation and I thoroughly enjoyed the interactions between Nico and Naomi. This was very fast paced and I’m begging Jagger Cole to give us Kir asap!

Dance Of Ruin by Jagger Cole is another gripping read in the Darkest Dance series. This time, the story centres on Naomi and Nico. Now, if you're a huge Jagger fan, like myself, then you'll know we've met these characters before.

If you're new to this author, then what you need to know, is that while each book can be read as a standalone, it is so much better to start with the first book in the series for context and a much better reading experience, also, strap in, because you're in for a ride.

Jagger has delivered us another masterpiece. Jagger's writing is addictive, with masterful banter between the characters that flows naturally, making the narrative realistic. Jagger's skill in bringing characters to life shines through Nico's monologues.

Nico and Naomi's initial interaction in the beginning is fraught with tension, giving the reader an indication of what's to come.

The fast-paced plot immediately evokes sympathy for Naomi, who seems naive and sheltered and she doesn't seem to sense danger, because red flags went up for me almost straight away, in that whole situation she found herself in.

Another reason I recommend reading prior books first, is because previous characters, especially Nico's family, reappear, showcasing a different side of ruthless Mafia men who fiercely protect their loved ones. A side that loves family so deeply and so fiercely that nothing will get in the way of them protecting what is theirs.

The suspense peaks when Bianca opens the car door, leaving readers breathless and then the chapter finished!! I literally could not make myself turn the page! I thought surely Jagger wouldn't! But then I thought what if he did and I had to accept it?! The angst and suspense in this moment was brilliantly done!

Then the second interaction between the two MCs feels different now, after what has transpired. Nico's determination to use Naomi for revenge adds to the tension with what he thinks he has and I feel sorry for Naomi. He doesn't allow her to explain because all he wants now, is to destroy the people that hurt his family.

The level of tension and suspense throughout the story, had me on the edge of my seat, holding my breath waiting to see what was coming next. The twists and turns hold the reader captive and unable to put the book down.

I feel like Jagger has added a whole other layer to this whole series with this book and I have so many questions! I'm sure he's now got his next book series already!

Let's talk about the spice for a minute! Holy hotness! I always look forward to a spicy scene by Jagger Cole because you know you are going to be left satisfied! He manages to push boundaries and get the reader out of their comfort zone. I loved Nico's possessiveness and his dirty mouth certainly didn't hurt, well, not in a bad way anyway ;-p

While Nico and Naomi's story concluded here, there is still so much for us to unravel within the overarching storyline and I absolutely cannot wait to dive into the next book.

For fans of Mafia romance, steeped with plenty of spice and possessive Alpha males who absolutely would burn the world for their women, check out this book, or anything Jagger Cole writes really, you won't be disappointed!

[arc review]

this book was a little bit of a hot mess for the characters 😗

nico gives me a little bit of an ick but that’s just kind of the person he is. he’s very much an act first, ask questions later and definitely don’t apologize type of guy. it’s part of his very stabby personality. still though, i find him jumping to a lot of conclusions and then him sorta being like oh 🧍‍♂️ later. nico is extremely protective and loyal though, i’ll give him that.

i would give ANYTHING to take away the pain and trauma that naomi went through. she’s innocent in all of this yet somehow outside forces decide to involve her in the crossfire. she’s an incredible dancer but the imposter syndrome on top of the pain and trauma from outside her career broke my heart.

nico is filled with a lot—and i mean A LOT—of lust so the book started to feel like plotless smut to me pretty early on in the book. but i was invested in the mafia bits so its no surprise i kept reading. also it’s jagger cole, i always know he’s got something up his sleeve, so like all of his other books i’ve read, i ate the book up.

****ARC****

Thanks to Valentines PR for selecting me for this ARC. And a HUGE!!! thank you to the wonderful author for writing this amazing book. THANK YOU!!! ❤❤❤

There's never a Jagger Cole book that's not intense, suspenseful, twists and turns, spice and a plot that has you making shocked faces and all that.

This book was no different. The Raven/Nico and Naomi were *chefs kiss*. Before I get into how obsessed and addicted he is with her, let's talk Naomi. This FMC was definitely one of the strongest ones I've read about. She has been through so much and for her to just push it down and fight through it to become the woman she was meant to be was such an awe to watch. I love her so much. And with Nico loving her so much, he helped her heal and while he wasn't always the good guy because we know how awful these morally grey MMCs can be at times but they do it out of unknown feelings brewing within them and we get that so we don't hate them for that. He groveled and apologized profusely when he realized how wrong he was for saying and doing what he did. You could see the love radiating from them and how much they couldn't away from each other.

This book had me spiraling because; and I won't be going into too many details, it had me wondering what the heck was happening with those two men. I mean is it who we've come to know and love or is it a twin? And while it wasn't a twin, that was definitely one of the best twists of this book and I just love how everything went down after that. I also wanted to jump in and kicked some ass when it came to Bianca, at this point it's pretty obvious how much I love her and Kratos; especially him lol. Also, a little bundle of joy? Come on Jagger, are you trying to make me cry because YESSSSSS! I love them so much.

Overall I give this book a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5, no surprises there. I'm literally obsessed with everything Jagger Cole writes, he can do no wrong. Of course with him, his books are more than spicy. It's just so kinky and out of this world 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. What I love and appreciate about a Jagger Cole book is that it's not pure smut, I mean it's ALOT, but there's always a plot and the plot is always bringing alot of edge of your sear excitement. I can't wait for the rest of this series, it just keeps getting better and better.
