For the gazillionth time, I ask myself if I’m crazy—although at least this time the question doesn’t pop up because I got all fangirly over a fucking murderer putting his hand on my neck—yeah, good job, self, you freaking weirdo.

me too, Naomi, me too.

The third book that I've read by Jagger, and my third 5-star read from him. I mean- HELLO? Every single book leaves me feeling completely spent, even wrecked, if I may say so myself 🤭- his books tend to take me a little longer than most others because that's just how much reactions they pull out of me, and Dance of Ruin was no exception to this.

I'd advise readers to go through the trigger warnings before going ahead with this book, as there are mentions of SA, but GOD. If it's something you can take, you NEED to read this book. The twist in the end between Nico and Naomi (well, not exactly a twist for us since we knew it all along, but more like, for the characters?)-?? GODDAMN I NEED MORE OF THAT.

Jagger's books have always been the perfect mix of spice, darkness and love, that'll leave your stomach experiencing rollercoasters and butterflies, and your pulse shooting through the roof. They're my guilty pleasure. It's dark, it's raw, and while I know parts of it might be unconventional, I'm here for it, and I'll even DIE for it if needed.

This story was amazing! We have Nico & Naomi. Nico is Carmine's young brother, who is the new don of the Barone family. Nico is unhinged but you just can't help but be drawn to him! Naomi, she's sweet, always doing the right thing but there is a dark side waiting to come out and Nico might just be the one to do that. They find themselves into an "agreement" where Nico will own Naomi for 6 months through the means of blackmail. I do enjoy reading about an obssesed MMC and Nico was on point. This story was very addictive & that plot twist was really good. Once I started reading, I could not put it down. Super excited for what comes next. Definitely check your TW before diving into this story.
