I LOVE this book and I LOVE Kristen Bailey!

One of the funniest books I have read! Ever! I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to read her others.

This book is based on one of the sisters - Meg Morton & her husband Danny.

'Has Anyone Seen My Sex Life? is their utterly hilarious and unmissable tale ideal for any couple obsessed by bin day, and who have ever felt like they spend more time washing the dishes than getting lucky.

Kristen Bailey is definitely one of my favourite authors!

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Thank you to Bookouture for my copy of this book via Netgalley and for letting me take part in this tour. This is the first book I have read by Kirsten. I really liked the blurb and I love to try new authors so I was excited to jump in.

I am going to start off by saying this was one of the funniest books I have read. Ever! I really really enjoyed it. Meg and Danny are such good main characters. They are easy to relate to and like Stu and Briony, I became very protective of these two.

Kristen's writing style is witty and the characters are realistic. I loved all of them but I think my favourite is Tess. She is very matter of fact and quite often very funny without realising it.

I don't feel this review is doing this book enough justice, I absolutely LOVED this book and I just know it's going to be in my top books of the year! I can't wait for more from Kristen.

This is hilarious. It will have you laughing out loud from beginning to end! Brilliant. It’s a mood boosting book for sure. You can’t help but smile as you read along… I am 100% sure every mother can at least relate to one part of this story. The way it is written makes you feel like you personally know this family and are friends.
The only downside was long chapters as I prefer short chapters but I raced through this so it didn’t matter much. It is brilliantly written. Loved the setting and characters. Can’t say a bad word about it. It sure is a book that will stick in your mind, especially certain parts! Ha.
I’m still smiling about this book now even writing this review. A well deserved four stars from me. Highly recommend. If you need a laugh and cheering up then this is a book for you.

What’s happening…
Meg is married to Danny. They met in London when she was a journalist on Red magazine but moved back north when Danny took over the running of the family paper mill. They have three young daughters and life is hectic. One morning, Meg opens a box with a delivery of a sex toy. When she discovers that Danny is a platinum customer of the online store, she first believes he is having an affair then later discovers he is drawing erotic pictures and has a massive following on social media. Can she cope with this and what is his identify becomes known?

What I thought about this story…
I have been following Kristen Bailey on social media for a while and can just tell how much her distinct personality shines through when reading this brutally honest story. With the daily ups and downs of a marriage with children and responsibilities in the mix, it’s hard to keep things exciting. I liked how the knowledge of what Danny is doing added energy to the marriage rather than judgement. Meg’s character is open-minded, vulnerable yet confident in herself and always, always real! I love how Danny shows his love for her and the children in many ways, and is also so honest about his thoughts and feelings. A lovely, entertaining read!
