I love Chelsea Handler. I think she is hilarious and this book definitely did not disappoint. Each chapter is a short story from her life and I laughed out loud pretty much the whole book. I wish I could just shadow her for a week and be a witness to some of these crazy antics panning out in front of me. She also shares some e-mails between her and her brothers and sisters about their dad which I loved!

If you love Chelsea Handler & loved her other books, you will love this. I would highly recommend it to anyone. She is, as always, crude & laugh out loud funny.

While I devoured this book in less than 24 hours, I'm not going to rate it among my favorite humor memoirs/essay collections. Chelsea Handler is often very funny, but is also often funny at the expense of others. And it is that brand of humor that makes me laugh and also feel really bad for the person who happens to be the butt of the joke. Some of the essays were much better than others ("Water Olympics" was definitely my favorite), and overall the book is worth a read if you're familiar with Handler, her humor, and her show. However, I would have preferred a little more cohesiveness to the essays. First we have a story about her as a third grader, and then a story about her as a 30-something and then as a 20-something, and it was never clear what stage of her life she was in during each essay. That made the whole book feel weird and disjointed. Some clarity on the book's timeline would have improved my rating.

TL;DR: while some parts made me uncomfortable and others made me feel bad, it wasn't a waste of the bargain bin $4. A decent read if you're looking for something quick and easy.
