this book was kinda disappointing ngl but also the total one-sidedness of the enemies-to-lovers of it all was Extremely funny to me. crier was twirling her hair and going 🥺😍 ayla is soooo pretty i wonder if she likes me 🥰🥰🥰 and meanwhile ayla was thinking abt her brutal murder. unintentional comedy gold

Although the writing was veryyyyy beautiful and lyrical, the book was boring and could’ve been written in 100 pages.
Nina Varela can write beautifully. I hope she learns how to write plots and twists too.

This books was beautifully written. I love Nina Varela’s writing style, and I really appreciated that she did not make homophobia prevalent in her book. It was refreshing to read a story about women loving each other and being allowed to love each other. I adored this book.

An example that shows that fantasy books do not need to be confusing for the first 100 pages
