Written beautifully. Story was interesting and compelling to read. Intense at times. I fell hard for all of the characters and was captivated by their growth throughout the story. The villains felt like true villains, and I found myself truly hating everything they said and did. The story kept me on my toes and compelled me to keep reading. The only issue for me was that it was a little difficult to get behind a love story between human and "machine". Ultimately, I am very interested to see how the story unfolds in the second book.
